The children from each class voted for two children to represent their class in our School Council.
The purpose of our School Council is to encourage pupils to get involved in making their school better and improving school life and school community.
As a School Council Representative it is their job to:
- Make suggestions for change and improvements
- Attend regular meetings
- Plan whole school fundraising events
- Talk to people and feed their views back during meetings
School Council representatives wanted to hold an Easter Tombola to raise money. Thanks to the generosity of parents and members of the local community we raised £309. We also held an Easter Egg competition in which Head Boy & Head Girl had the difficult task of choosing the winners and presenting prizes during Assembly.
School Council shared some amazing idea to help raise money at our Winter Wonderland event which we raised £980!
School Council decided to support Children in Need this year by dressing in spots and Pudsey merchandise. Thank you for all of your donations as a school we raised £97.
School Council decided to support World Mental Health Day by dressing bright colours. During Assembly we discussed Mental Health and ways can improve our own Mental Health.
